Kayak Availability and Group Reservations
We rent kayaks on a first come first served basis and the availability of our kayaks is generally very good.
Reservations are only accepted for prepaid groups of ten or more for start times at or before 10:00am. If you have a group and want to make a reservation or customize a midweek event, please contact our guide service coordinator.
We primarily rent recreational sit-on-top and sit inside kayaks appropriate for total beginners and those looking to go on a leisurely paddle. Those that have taken an instructional class equivalent to our Kayaking Skills and Safety class may rent sea touring kayaks.
Customers who are interested in purchasing a kayak may "demo" kayaks at Stevens Creek Reservoir and will be allowed to swap out different kayaks during their rental period. You may apply up to $50 of what you spend on yourself at Stevens Creek Reservoir toward the purchase of a new regular priced kayak within one month. If there is a particular kayak you would like to demo, please contact us for availability.
