Stand Up Paddleboard Rentals at Stevens Creek Reservoir

We will be open starting Sunday May 12th (Mother's Day)
We offer on-water hourly stand up paddleboard rentals (SUP) and kayak rentals at Stevens Creek Reservoir in Cupertino. You can also rent a paddleboard on a 24 hr. basis from one of our two store locations.
Stevens Creek Reservoir is a non-power boating reservoir perfect for first time paddleboarders. It's an incredibly relaxing place to visit, easy to get to, and is nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Take a look at the picture gallery of Stevens Creek Reservoir.
Please note that due to US Coast Guard law, all paddleboard rentals include a lifejacket that must be worn at all times. Please see our rental policies.

Operating Hours
The Stevens Creek Reservoir rental facility is open every Saturday and Sunday from mid-May through mid September and sometimes longer depending on the demand and weather. Operating times are from 11:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. The last rental goes out at 4:00 P.M. and is due back by 5:00 P.M. We do reserve the right to close early if business is slow.
Paddleboard Availability
We rent stand up paddleboards (SUP) on a first come first served basis and the availability of our paddleboards is generally very good.
We rent stable and easy to use paddle boards appropriate for developing paddlers. If you want to learn how to stand up paddleboard take a class with Outback Adventures.
Group Reservations
Reservations are only accepted for prepaid groups of ten or more for start times at or before 10:00am. If you have a group and want to make a reservation or customize a midweek event, please contact our guide service coordinator.
Directions to Stevens Creek Reservoir in Cupertino
Directions from San Jose or San Francisco using 280
From San Jose take 280 North or from San Francisco take 280 South and exit at Foothill Boulevard. Go South on Foothill Boulevard towards the hills. Foothill Boulevard will eventually change names to Stevens Canyon Road. Wind your way up the hill for a short distance until Stevens Creek Reservoir becomes visible on your left. Turn left into the parking lot where parking passes may be purchased for $6.
Directions from South San Jose using 85
From South San Jose take 85 North and take the Stevens Creek Boulevard exit and turn left at the light heading West on Stevens Creek Boulevard. Turn left on Foothill Boulevard heading South towards the hills. Foothill Boulevard will eventually change names to Stevens Canyon Road. Wind your way up the hill for a short distance until Stevens Creek Reservoir becomes visible on your left. Turn left into the parking lot where parking passes may be purchased for $6.
