Demo Day Event

An Outback Adventures Demo Day is an excellent way to discover which kayak or paddleboard will work best for you. Our expert staff and technical assistance will help you narrow your choices, but paddling the kayaks and paddleboards will help you decide. For virtually every watercraft we sell, we have at least one in demo. We bring our whole fleet of boats and boards, so there's many for you to test drive. This is absolutely the best way to buy. Be sure to attend one of the mini instructional clinics too.

Location: Larkspur Store in Marin County

Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Cost and Registration: The fee to register is $15 per person, all of which may be applied to a new kayak on the day of the event. Kids 10 and under are Free (one child with each paying adult). Space is limited so we encourage you to preregister. To pre-register please contact us.

One-Day SALE:
We have this Demo Day Sale just once a year so this is the time to buy and save. Every kayak and paddleboard in stock will be on sale. There will also be loads of kayak accessories and on sale. Save on paddles, kayak carts, wetsuits, paddling jackets, booties, sandals, PFD's and more. Remember this is a one-day sale only and we will not be able to honor these discounts after the demo day.

Extras:
We will be offering FREE snacks and drinks to Demo Day participants and will have a raffle where you can win kayaking gear, trips, and classes. Don't miss the free mini instructional clinics throughout the day so you can learn new things and gain new paddling skills.

Directions to Marin Store From the South (San Francisco)
Take Highway 101 North, and cross the Golden Gate Bridge. At the first sign for the Richmond Bridge (and Sir Francis Drake), exit 101 and bear right onto Sir Francis Drake. Make an immediate right turn into the first parking lot. Outback Adventures is the first store closest to the road.

Directions to Marin Store from the North (Santa Rosa)
Take Highway 101 South. Pass Sir Francis Drake exit, and exit Lucky Dr. towards the west. Follow signs towards 101 north that will take you back under the freeway. Get back onto Highway 101 North. Immediately exit 101 following signs towards the Richmond Bridge, and bear right onto Sir Francis Drake. Make an immediate right turn into the first shopping center. Outback Adventures is the first store closest to the road.

Directions to the Marin Store from the East (Richmond area)
Take Interstate 580 West towards San Rafael, and take Highway 101 South towards San Francisco. Exit Lucky Dr. towards the west. Follow signs towards 101 north that will take you back under the freeway. Get back onto Highway 101 North. Immediately exit 101 following signs towards the Richmond Bridge, and bear right onto Sir Francis Drake. Make an immediate right turn into the first shopping center. Outback Adventures is the first store closest to the road.
