Location Description
Half Moon Bay is on the Pacific side of the peninsula, and home to a huge variety of outdoor activities. It is a growing community, with lush coastal mountains diving into the Pacific Ocean, and farmlands nestled along the coast. Home of the annual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, the community also offers many attractions including restaurants, wineries, two lighthouses, hiking trails and some of the most consistent surf around. Easy access to the beach, and miles of open coast make for a great kayaking location.
