Northern California Kayaking

Northern California, and especially the San Francisco Bay Area, offers a wide variety of kayaking opportunities for people of all skill levels. Outback Adventures offers beginning to advanced instruction in sea kayaking, as well as scenic kayak tours. Elkhorn Slough, Angel Island and Bair Island offer a wide variety of sea kayak touring experiences, from the excitement of the open bay to the protected waters of the slough. Consistent waves for surf kayaking can be found in Half Moon Bay or Moss Landing, and the tranquil waters of Stevens Creek Reservoir and Corte Madera Creek in Marin provide the perfect home for our introductory courses and summer rental operations.
