 Sea Kayaking Development
Moss Landing
Trip Details
Course Description: Take
the next step in developing your kayaking skills. This class
includes training in
more advanced paddling strokes and boat
handling
skills. We will also work on bracing techniques, a crucial
skill set needed for safe coastal kayaking, kayak surfing,
and for performing advanced maneuvers such as the Eskimo
Roll. In protected ocean waters you will refine
the skills you
have
learned in the Level I class under the guided supervision
of our experienced staff.
We will conclude this comprehensive fundamental class by
practicing open water reentries, as well as learning a new
assisted rescue. This class is a great skill and confidence
builder.
