 Bay Area Kids Adventure Summer Camps
An Outback Adventures Kids Camp is uniquely
different than traditional summer camps. Our camps focus
on outdoor adventure and fitness through exploration, cooperation,
and learning.
Your child will discover the joys of kayaking,
rock climbing, and hiking while exploring the natural
environment in a safe and fun setting. Our program offers
real experiences
in team work, outdoor leadership, and problem solving.
The kayaking and rock climbing programs
feature formal, yet fun
and interactive instruction insuring your child comes
home knowing the fundamentals of these adventure activities.
Additional outdoor adventures include cooperative games,
scavenger hunts
by map and compass, plant and animal identification,
and
environmental education.
Outback Adventures’ multi-sport
adventure camp is a great way to introduce your child
to the wonderful world of outdoor recreation. We will
focus on learning the fundamentals of kayaking, rock
climbing, and hiking while gaining a greater appreciation
of our natural environment. Through interactive and cooperative
games, discussions, and hands-on experience, our camps
help build self-confidence as well as promoting teamwork
and social skills. (5 Days)
If your child is ready to have lots of fun
while getting a little wet, then this trip is for them. This
action packed
camp includes kayak skills training and tours, cooperative
kayak games, and environmental education. The protected waters,
warm climate, and abundant wildlife at our kayaking “base
camp”, combine to make the perfect outdoor learning
center. Your child will learn about kayaking and the local
environment through interactive games and hands-on experience.
We make learning fun! (3 Days)
Kids are natural climbers and that's why
they love this camp! This two-day adventure will teach
the
fundamentals of rock
climbing in a safe
and supportive environment. Conducted on real rock, our experienced
and patient guides provide a unique outdoor experience.
The climbs are suitable for all abilities, ensuring
a challenging,
yet
rewarding
experience. Integral to rock climbing, the theme of teamwork
and problem solving will be
emphasized throughout this adventure. (2 Days)
