 Multi-Sport
Adventure
Summer Day Camp
North Bay
Trip Details
Course Description: Outback
Adventures’ multi-sport adventure camp is a great
way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of outdoor
recreation. We will focus on learning the fundamentals
of kayaking, rock climbing, and hiking while gaining a
greater appreciation of the natural environment. Through
interactive and cooperative games, discussions, and hands-on
experience, our camps help build self-confidence as well
as promoting teamwork and social skills.
Kayaking will take place at Outback Adventures’ Larkspur
location. The temperate environment, sheltered waters, and
abundant wildlife make this an ideal location for learning
these skills. Mount Tamalpais State Park will be the setting
for rock climbing on real rock! Exploring the many hiking
trails of Mount Tamalpais will provide an opportunity for
lessons in Natural history, orienteering, and good old-fashioned
exercise. With safety as their number one priority, our experienced
instructors provide a fun, informative environment for these
adventures and will cater to each child’s individual
needs.
