Mountaineering Gear Rentals
Serving the San Francisco Bay Area

Outback Adventures rents nearly every major piece of essential mountaineering equipment. We consistently outfit our customers who are heading to Mount Shasta, Mount Whitney, Lassen Peak, and anywhere in between.

How to read the rental price sheet
We give FREE Pick-Up AND Return Days for all mountaineering equipment rentals. For example, if you are picking up gear on a Friday and returning it on a Monday, you will be charged a 2 day rental rate. The prices you see in the 2 day column are for the entire time period (i.e. Friday to Monday), not a per day charge. Although not mandatory, we encourage everyone to make a rental reservation. Please be sure to read out rental policies.
