Cancellation Policies

In the interest of our clients and guides who are expecting to attend the scheduled trip or class and due to the amount of preparation and planning required, we have adopted a cancellation policy that limits short notice cancellations. A short notice cancellation can cause an entire trip or class to be cancelled due to its effects on minimum group size requirements. It can also negatively affect our potential clients who were told that they could not join the trip or class due to maximum guide to client ratios. Lastly, a short notice cancellation can affect the dedicated guides and instructors who have committed to being available for your trip or class. For these reasons, among others, we have the following cancellation policy:

General Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancellations can be made no less than one week prior to the scheduled trip or class date for single day courses and no less than three weeks for multi-day courses. No refund will be issued after the cancellation period has expired. Please see below for additional information.

Bioluminescence Kayak Tours: For a full refund, cancellations can be made no less than 10 days prior to the scheduled trip date. No refund will be issued after the cancellation period has expired. If you purchased your trip through one of our affiliates, please refer to their cancellation policies. Please see below for additional information.

Additional Details: Outback Adventures may need to cancel a trip or class due to minimum group size requirements, weather, or safety concerns. If Outback Adventures cancels for minimum group size requirements you have the option of rescheduling or receiving a full refund. If Outback Adventures cancels due to weather or safety concerns, your trip or class will be rescheduled for a future convenient date.

Outback Adventures monitors various weather forecast sources and does its best to notify you ahead of time regarding possible weather conditions that may cancel the trip or class. However, due to weather forecast variability, real-time observations, and other safety concerns, occasionally we may need to cancel a trip or class just hours before the start time, onsite, or even after departure. If a trip or class gets cancelled due to weather, rest assured knowing that a more enjoyable event likely awaits your reschedule.

We require all clients to sign both a release of liability and medical history form before participating in the trip or class. Please review these documents, check the box indicating that you agree, and be ready to sign them on the day of the course.
